Staff Backgrounds
Mark Gunderson, General Manager — estimation, purchasing, oversees day-to-day operations
Mark has been in the trade since 1978 working in seeminging every position from welder, plumber, pipe fitter, foreman, superintendent, project manager to estimator and more. Mark carries both a Journeyman Plumber and Class 5 Boiler’s license. His wide range of experience helps our clients avoid potential problems from conception through execution, and he is an asset to owners because he can help build applications as well as troubleshoot problems in existing systems. Mark has been directly involved in all of our projects, either working as the project manager or overseeing the on-site project managers.
Steve O'Shaughnessy, Project Manager
Steve has been in this business for more than 28 years as a project engineer, project manager, estimator and project sponsor. His past clientele include companies such as US Bancorp, Intel, Tri-Met, SEH America and more.
Floyd Lovejoy, Onsite Project Manager
Floyd brings to our team more than 37 years of project management experience with a proven track record of excuting and completing sucessful projects. He wears many hats at our company. Floyd oversees the day-to-day progress on our projects, creates and manges project schedules, coordinates subcontractors and conducts weekly construction team updates. Floyd was also the project manager for the Portland Hilton cooling towers project.
Josh Sullivan, General Superintendent — personnel coordination, safety manager
Josh has been in this industry as a plumber and foreman for more than 17 years. He is an asset to our company because he is able to keep his team on schedule while maintaining the integrity of their work and a safe work environment. Josh was the general foreman for the WOU chiller and cooling tower replacement for both the education and the natural science buildings. He was also the foreman on the WOU campus infrastructure project.
Ray Brever, Onsite Superintendent in charge of construction, field coordination of equipment and piping installation, subcontractors scheduling and coordination
Ray’s 23 years of supervisory experience in the industry makes him an invaluable employee whose level of expertise has resulted in high praise from our clients. Ray was the onsite Superintendant for the Marion County Jail where a $900,000 new wing was added and tied into the currently occupied correctional facility. Ray has been at the Albany Waste Water Treatment Plant for the last two years as our General Foreman.
Ernie Choukalos, Onsite Foremen in charge of crew management and equipment and piping installation
Ernie has been a welder, pipefitter and a member of the UA Local 290 for more than 21 years. One of Ernie’s biggest accomplishments was working as the general foreman in charge of piping installation on the on the successful completion of the Klamath Cogeneration Plant, an extenstive and detailed job. Ernie was also the general foreman for the Medford School District project, where he worked simultaneously on three separate schools.
